Summerlyn is a middle school English and Speech teacher in Nevada. She is married to a wonderful man, and they have two sweet girls.
Her dad is a musician, and Summerlyn grew up tinkering with different instruments and singing children's tracks for her dad's musicals. She wrote her first song when she was 12 for her dad's birthday. When she was 15, she wrote and performed a song for a state pageant.
She wrote sporadically over the next decade, but it wasn't until she joined a local Christian band in her twenties that she began to focus her ministry efforts on songwriting.
At her first songwriting conference in 2008, she met Jamie Wolf and has been blessed to co-write with her ever since.
Pete Buchwald is a songwriter and producer in the Denver area. He is an instructor in Audio Production at The University of Colorado Denver, and is an adjunct faculty member at Colorado Christian University.
Pete has his undergraduate degree in jazz arranging from The University of North Texas, and his master’s degree in recording arts from The University of Colorado Denver.
He enjoys programming music, taking advantage of virtual instruments in the computer to create drum beats, synthesizer elements, and other sounds for his song demos. He’s a sucker for the sounds of the Hammond organ and telecaster guitars.
Before coming to Denver, Pete was on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ in Boston, where he had a ministry with music and art students.
